“Stop and consider my wonders,” God told Job, the World’s Expert on Suffering. God had listened patiently to Job’s lengthy list of complaints about the human condition. And, now, it was God’s turn to reply.
Then God went on to point to ordinary observations of the natural world surrounding Job—clouds hung poised in the sky, flashes of lightning.
Not so very ordinary, was God’s lesson.
Maybe God was trying to remind us that there is no such thing as ordinary. Open your eyes and see the wonders that surround you!

The ordinary wonder I observed this morning is the sun rising after a nighttime of darkness, planes flying high in the sky and just the ordinary wonder of breathing! God is awesome! Thanks for the opportunity to win and a reminder to not take God’s creation for granted. Linda
Morning sunlight mixing with the rising lake mist; Deer enjoying the coolness of the morning; Turkeys; Geese; prairie grass waving proudly against a color streaked evening sky–so many ordinary wondrous blessings. Praise the Creator!
The beautiful sky after our rain, thunder, and lightning. The beautiful and serene vineyards that line my drive to work. The love from the special children I teach. Loving hugs from my daughter.
