Suzanne, Hope you and your family have a Blessed Christmas. My favorite Christmas song this year is "Here Comes Santa Claus" as I am 65 and raising my 7 and 8 year old grandchildren.. They make Christmas. God Bless Helen
My favorite Christmas Carol is O Holy Night!
My favorite carol is "Who is He in Yonder Stall?" Because to music is cool and kinda eerie, and not typically sang.
My favorite Christmas song is I'll be home for Christmas. I never really understood it until Christmas of 2004 when my husband was serving in Iraq with the Marine Corps and I had 2 children and one on the way. He only made it home for Christmas that year in my heart. I have been lucky; every Christmas since then he has been home.
In THE GARDEN IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES. IT TELLS US THAT HE IS THERE WITH US WALKING AND TALKING WE HEAR HIS VOICE.ITS SUCH A JOY TO KNOW HIS WITH US. I WANT TO WISH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS. SANDRA

I like "Mary Did You Know?". As a mother this song always reminds me of the perspective of Mary as she carried the Messiah in her womb and gave birth to Emanuel, God With Us. It had to be overwhelming for her to think about that.
Dear Suzanne,
My favorite Christmas hymn is O Holy Night.
It captures the holiness of God and of Jesus Christ, God incarnate entering the world…God in the flesh.
I have some wonderful memories of this hymn, one dating back to Jr. High when a friend sang a solo of O Holy Night at school Christmas concert.
It never fails to bring a tear to my eye or lump in my throat.
Blessings in Christ…Susan
My favorite carol is Silent Night. My church sings it last at Christmas Eve Candlelight Service…the lights are dimmed and everyone is holding a lighted candle. It sends shivers down your spine! And hopefully when you walk out of the church after midnight, it is quiet and snow is falling. That is one of the most special and "holy" moments of Christmas for me.
My favorite Christmas Carol is "Hippopatamus for Christmas" it reminds me of the innocence of children. Children's faith is greater without any limitations. That is why we should have "childlike faith".
My favorite carol is Dominick the Donkey…when my son was small he had the donkey part and was laughing so hard by the time his part came he came in late so all you heard was him heehawing (if that is a word) while the rest of us were singing. We were all laughing by the time the song was over. He is older now but smiles everytime he hears it..he's too cool to heehaw now..(not!)
My favorite Christmas carol is 'Oh Holy Night.' It is is so beautiful and it tells the story well!
Hope to win that neat book!
Thanks – Andrea

I would love to win a book!! My favorite Christmas songs will always be Silent Night and Joy to the World. They are just such magnificent pieces of music- so meaningful. Also, when I was in Grade 6 my teacher taught me to sing the alto part to these two songs. I still can do it to this day.
Hi Suzanne,
My favorite Christmas carol is, Do You Hear What I Hear. It's been my favorite since I was a lttle girl.
I would love to win this book.
I finsihed reading Amish Peace last night. I couldn't put it down.
Oh Holy Night is my favorite Christmas song. Every time I hear this song and picture the words, chills run through my body.
There are no words to describe this song, but yet there are.
The world was in chaos and sin, in need of God’s son. Can you picture that night. What a divine night, the skies quiet and clear, the stars brightly shining and there Jesus was in Mary’s arms. The thrill of hope, a new and glorious morn was awaiting everyone. The angels singing, the world rejoicing for God sent his son to save each and every one of us. How could you not fall on your knees and rejoice that Christ, our savior, was born. Change shall he bring if we only open our hearts and let him in.
Oh night divine, Oh night when Christ was born.
Dorie
I love Joy to the World because it reminds me of the central focus of the Christmas season.
