In 1987, Sir John Templeton was speaking at the Annual Financial Planning Associating meeting, held in Chicago.
At the close of his remarks, he said he wanted to disclose the best investment anyone can make. The attendees listened carefully as he said, “the best investment anyone can make is spelled T-I-T-H-E.”
I will tell you from my personal experience, that when we honor God, he honors us. When times were very tough in the last resession, we learned that God was quite serious about the tithe. That is the one and only area (in the Bible) we are invited to test God. We did, and God is true to his word and he IS FAITHFUL. Friends, don’t hold back what is rightfully God’s. It’s all his anyway!!!
