While at my daughter’s college for a sorority mom’s weekend, I’m staying at one of my favorite B&B’s. Each time I’ve visited here, there was something very quirky going on. I sort of like quirky…it’s part of the charm of a B&B.

Fortunately, this time is no exception. The inn is hosting a Free Shakespeare event. Complete with harps in the lobby!

There are all kinds of middle-aged actors, Who take themselves very seriously, in funny hats and big blouse-y shirts downstairs.

Best of all, they look at me with that Renaissance actor stare–as if I’m the one trapped in the wrong century.
