Evanescence is a great word. For you wordinastas out there, it means “fading from sight, vanishing.” Every single day, I have had at least one evanescent moment with my dad, in which he is lucid and clearly himself. It fades away quickly, but… I caught it! In fact, now I’m looking for them, kind of like markers, to remind me of the Lord’s presence in the midst of this crummy disease.

Awwwww….sweet! S. Grinnan
I love reading the updates. My mother had dementia, plus a load of other problems. I wish I could have done more while I had the chance. Keep up the good work! You’ll look back at this time fondly. KW from Santa Fe, New Mexico
