As the menfolk in my family are preparing for their CLIMB (remember, it’s not a hike), they are guzzling water like thirsty camels.

Some interesting water facts…

About 2/3 of the human body is water. Some body parts contain more water. Your skin is 70% water.

You can survive about a month without food but only 5-7 days without water.

A dairy cow must drink about 4 gallons of water to produce 1 gallon of milk.

Of all the earth’s water, 97% is salt water found in the ocean. Only 1% of the earth’s water is available for drinking. Two percent is currently frozen.

A person should consume 2.5 quarts of water per day.
