Does anybody remember the movie Born Free? With Else the lion cub? I just saw it the other day and remember why I loved it as a little girl.

A lovely story of a woman who had rescued a lion cub, set in the gorgeous background of Kenya. When the time came for Else to be sent to a zoo, her “mom” couldn’t stand the thought and tried to teach her out to be wild. It’s a true story…if you haven’t seen it in a while, (say, since 1966!)…get it out on Netflix and watch it. Good for the whole family.
