Big News!

Besides the gigantic news that my eldest daughter became engaged to a wonderful guy last week…besides the fact that we have gone an entire week without a major mishap with my Dad…besides the fact that my youngest daughter arrived home from her first quarter in college (she’s still sleeping)…besides all of those wondrous events…
I signed a contract with an agent who wants to represent the film rights to my novel Copper Star (due out in June 2007)!

Now, that doesn’t mean it’s a done deal. Not by a long shot. But, as my friend Deb said, “How many people can say their book has been pitched to Dreamworks?” Which, believe it or not, it has!
