My husband, sons and son-in-law have plans to climb a 14,000 foot mountain. They assure me that they won’t do anything STUPID, like rough house on the side of a slippery mountain, or forget their helmets, or leave their cell phones in the car.

To be fair, they have attended classes, read books, and bought WAY too much stuff for a simple, back-to-nature climb (different than a hike, they insist. Who knew?).

Still, they’re guys.

They just don’t understand why I’m worried.

Stay tuned for updates on this adventure. Hopefully, good updates. Not the “I’m posting from the ICU unit in the hospital” kind of updates.
