Wow, I love to read about the Amish. We live in Hubbard OHIO and we do visit the Amish in their homes in nearby New Wilmington PA where the daughter is an Amish schoolteacher in the one room school with over 30 students. She also has to help milk the cows promptly at 4 AM before hitching up her horse to drive to school, and milk the cows again at suppertime.
The Amish are wonderful; I can never get enough of them. My Amish friends say that I would fit right in as I am quite plain. LOL
My daughter had the perfect birthday gift from this family, which was a ride throughout the county in their horse and buggy. That sure made her day.
I am always checking out Amish related items on the computer.
