Mimi, Grammy, Nana, GiGi, Oma, Grandma . . . they’re all terms of endearment for one of the most important roles in life’s second act: grandparenting. Last week I shared how the idea for Thoroughly Modern Mimis came about and what my grandkids call me: mimi! I enjoyed reading about the various terms of endearment your grandchildren have for you. Thanks for sharing! Congratulations to the winner of a Stick with Me Vinyls mimi wooden block, PAT THOMPSON! Please email info {at} suzannewoodsfisher {dot} com to claim your prize.
In case you haven’t met them already, here are my sweethearts!

Kaitlyn, age 2, loves, loves, loves dogs and playing hide-and-seek.
Reagan is already 5 months and is growing so fast!

Hi Suzanne. Your grandchildren are precious.
I have 2 grand kids. My granddaughter is grown already. 23 years old. I have a grandson aged 15. I’m only 4′ 11″ and my grandson is tall like his father. So I look up to him.
I have 1 great granddaughter aged 5 . I lost a great granddaughter at 2 months. She’s with Jesus now. She had severe cliff lip an cliff pallet and faced many surgeries to correct this. She died in her sleep about 2 weeks before her first surgery. God spared her the pain.
I also have another great grand baby on the way.
Yes our grand kids are special and we should treasure them while they are young. The years go by and before you know it they’re grown.

I have 4 grandchildren and one more on the way – Elizabeth is 8 years old, Aidan is 5, his brother Mason is 3, and Evelyn is 2 – three families, with only my youngest child not starting that part of his life yet! Grandchildren are the best – and making me wish we were more like the Amish and lived close by each other!
I have two grown grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. We were privileged to have our grandchildren live across the street from us. My great grandchildren live 1500 miles away. My oldest great grandchild, Kambrie is 4, and her little sister Sofia is two months old today. Thank goodness for cell phones and pictures and Facebook and Instagram.
