They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and I would like to add that a dog’s expression a worth a thousand more. I would often find my pups with the funniest looks or in oddest situations and wonder, “What in the world are you doing?!” Below are some of those captured moments, perfect for a caption contest! Share a caption for one or more of the photos in the comment section for the chance to win a copy of Amish Values for Your Family! I’ll announce the winning caption next Wednesday!

#1–I can reach the knob, if I can only find it.
#4-You mean this isn’t a real bone?
Photo #1 “I… almost got it…”
Photo #4 “Do you have another?”
1 – Maybe this will work.
2 – Fine, be that way.
3 – What do you mean, I just had a treat?
4 – Last time I checked thus wasn’t a bone.
5 – Would be nice if you two would leave me more rug space.
#1 – “Now will you throw the stick? Please?!?”
#2 – “Really?”
#3 – “I’m waiting. . .”
#4 – “Oh, did you want a turn?”
#5 – “We’re not tiiirrre… zzzzzzz.”
I can picture my kids saying most of these with the same looks on their faces.
#1. I think I can, I think I can…just a little bit more and I can unlock this door.
#2. I’m sorry, I had to go potty, but you were in the bathroom.
#3. Look at my eyes, I NEED another treat.
#4. What? I have been right here with this so called bone. I did not get in the trash.
#5. Aaah, this wood floor is much cooler than that rug, those other dogs are nuts.
1. If I could just get this darn stick 2 inches higher, I’d get in.
2. I’m sorry that you caught me trying to get in but glad you let me in.
3. Ok, I promise not to do it again.
4. I’m just playing with my bone.
5. Gosh, I guess I’d better take a nap so I don’t get in trouble again for a while.
2. Can’t you see I need a nap
3. But,……I love you!
#1 Found something really cool, can I bring it in?
#2 I just really want to take a nap, please leave me alone.
# 1 Just a couple more inches and I’ll have it!
#2 I’m sorry, I won’t do it again.
#3 Well what are we waiting for? Let’s go.
#4 Now what?
#5 full tummys and tuckered out, soft snores…….
Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this blog.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very difficult to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness
and visual appearance. I must say you’ve deliver a awesome job with this.
Also, the blog loads extremely fast for me on Internet explorer.
Excellent Blog!
Hi Suzanne! Today I received the book I won in this contest…..so exciting! A fun contest and even more fun to win a book by a favorite author! Thank You!!
