There are all kinds of ways to use forgotten household items, especially in the garden.  If you’re as eager as I am for Spring to spring, check out these pix.

Got some extra coffee mugs around the house? I love that the cups and saucers didn’t start as a pair. But they sure do work!

How’s this for re-purposing an old washtub?

IMG_4186

I wonder what stories this ol’ tub could tell.

Got an old bucket lying around?

This bicycle is just . . . oh so French!

My mom used to have a lot of these old milk containers. Hmmm…where are they now?

Look at what happens when the pot  and flower is put in the pull cart. A little magic! Why can’t I think of things like this?!

These pix were taken at one of my favorite spots: Petit Soleil Bed & Breakfast in San Luis Obispo. Owners John & Dianne Connor are AMAZING. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the breakfasts are…well, food you’ll dream about. And I always leave feeling inspired to look at things around my home and see them in a different way.

Have you repurposed any old “stuff” for your garden? If so, send me a picture! I’d love to see your creativity. And if I share your picture, I’ll send you a signed book.
