Last weekend, my husband and I (mostly him . . . he’s the detailed one in our household) put up lettering over my kitchen sink–a place I spend many, many hours. I had chosen the Amish proverb: “Prayers go up, blessings come down.” WiseDecor custom made the wall decal for me–the saying, the font, the color, the size–and turned it around in record time.
It took a little time to get the lettering taped to the wall–measured properly from side to side, up and down. The instructions were excellent–step by step. The only thing we’d change is to use painter’s tape instead of masking tape.
As we lifted the transfer paper, each new letter took a little extra attention–the corner or the serif. It wasn’t hard–it just took time and attention.
And then voila! The results look so great! I’m lovin’ it.

Love it! I’ve been wanting part of Joshua for a long time … “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
love the decal quote, looks great!
Family, the ones you live with, laugh with and love
For me, the quote would be the scripture I claimed for myself for my 2nd fight against cancer. “Romans 12:12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in affliction, be persistent in prayer.” It applies to how each day should be lived even after my battle with cancer is over.
I love this “wall speak.” My fav is As for me and my house we ill serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15
I love your decal! For me it would be: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Of course, I may use yours! I really like it!
Your decal turned out beautifully! My decal would say “We begin and end with family.”
Awesome job hubby! You did a great and loving job on the letters love it! And Suzanne, I love the idea for the lettering.
I have two actually short ones. “One day at a time!” And “Let Go & Let God”. Those I live by daily. But the one I would put up would have to be “With God all things are possible!” To remind me to never loose hope to keep going. And I would put my brother’s picture below it to remember what he always told me. My brother had both legs gone to diabetes and he made me lunch one day at his house and never let me help him. And he reminded me constantly of that phrase.
This is the best! I would like one that says, “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”’
God Bless Our Home!

Teach me, Lord, the way of your decrees,
that I may follow it to the end.
Give me understanding, so that I may keep your law
and obey it with all my heart.
Direct me in the path of your commands,
for there I find delight.
Turn my heart toward your statutes
and not toward selfish gain.
Turn my eyes away from worthless things;
preserve my life according to your word.
Psalm 119: 33-37

Bloom Where You’re Planted!
Mine would be a simple, silly, childhood family prayer that I have been wanting to have painted onto something to hang in my kitchen. After seeing your decal in your kitchen, I could do the same thing & it would be much easier…

Great job, hubby. It looks wonderful. I would choose Jer29:11 for I know the plans I have for you declares The Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a hope and a future. This is my life verse that I clung to through many years of abuse. Now God has blessed me with a wonderful husband.

Do Justly, Love Mercy, Walk Humbly With Your God
As for me and my house we ill serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15
