I’m back from another go, go, go week! First up was my son’s graduation in Illinois and then book signings in Iowa. What a privilege to meet readers and hear a little about your life stories! If only I could have you over dinner so we could have a real heart-to-heart. I would make you pasta with fresh-from-the-garden veggies. Tomatoes, basil, green peppers . . . and we would have my husband’s home-made ice-cream for dessert. Yum!
How about you? If you could cook one meal for us, what would it be?

Suzanne,if you were our guest, I would probably prepare one of MY favorite meals. Pot roast surrounded by potatoes, onions and carrots; green beans seasoned with ham pieces; sweet potato casserole; coleslaw and rolls.
Thanks for another great blog post and giveaway.
Hello, if you were our guest, my husband, who is the cook of the family, would probably do something Italian. My favorite thing that he makes is an Italian rice/Italian sausage sandwich called Romane’, I would definitely have him make those for our meal. Then we would add vegetables, a dessert, and some ice cold southern ice tea.
Hi Suzanne. If you were a guest at our house, my husband and I would make you a real East Coast meal. One of our favorites, especially this time of year, is fresh salmon cooked on the BBQ, a “new” baked potato and some fresh picked fiddleheads. Tasty! Have a wonderful weekend 🙂
If you were a guest at my home, you would be treated to filet mignon on the grill (my husband does steak to perfection on the grill), twice-baked potatoes & fresh asparagus. Dessert would be simple…pound cake with strawberries & whipped cream…I’m making myself hungry! Thanks for the opportunity to win…Linda
If you would a guest at my house for dinner, I would probably serve you a roasted chicken, with gravy, mashed potatoes and vegetables and and good homemade bread or rolls and a yummy desert
Hey Suzanne, I don’t know if you like Lobster, but I would treat you to a Maine Lobster meal. Home made yeast rolls, corn on the cob and home made Cole slaw.
I would fix pizza in a skillet (cause my stove is temporarily on the blink!) with feta cheese, bell peppers, onions, black olives and cherry tomatoes. (Yum, making myself hungry!)
My g’daughter would probably want to make her blueberry surprise for dessert and her flavored sweet tea to drink.
We would be so excited and honored to have you as a guest and I would more than likely pick your brain about being a successful author.
If that doesn’t scare you off, you are welcome anytime!
I you were my guest for dinner, I would make you a marinated steak on the grill, with roasted veggies (mushrooms, onions, green beans, carrots, red, orange, and yellow pepper strips, and whatever else I decide to throw in), a side of pasta with a homemade marinara sauce or a loaded baked potato, a fresh tossed salad with homemade dressing, homemade bread, and fresh strawberry shortcake with homemade ice cream. I love to cook (I just hate the clean-up)!!! 🙂 Blessings to you and your family. Have a good evening! 🙂
