Happy New Year!
I always enjoy turning the calendar to January–feels like a fresh wind fills the sails. I hope you feel a similar excitement for all 2014 holds for you.
Thanks to your pre-orders of The Calling, I just sent off a very big check to Mother William’s soup kitchen! As a small way to show my appreciation for your generous support and to celebrate the New Year, I’m running a “Welcome 2014” Barnes & Noble contest! Get your camera and head to a Barnes & Noble near you for a chance to win a $50 B&N gift card. Here are the different way you can enter:
- Snap a picture of one of my books on the shelf at a Barnes and Noble and email me the picture
- Purchase a copy from Barnes & Noble and let me know
- No camera? No problem. Leave a comment below saying what Barnes & Noble you visited, the date, and what books of mine they had in stock and you will be entered to win
I’ll announce the winner on my blog on January 21st!
P.S. I can’t wait for Book Tour ’14! Here’s the updated book tour to celebrate The Calling‘s release on January 14th. I’m getting excited to meet everybody!

I went to B&N and only found 2 of your books there. However, when I went to WalMart they had a lot of your books, so bought one. I did take a picture at B&N on my phone, but don’t know how to get it into your website.
My daughter & I went on a “scavenger hunt” at the Barnes & Noble on Winchester Rd in Temecula, CA. We found 1 copy of “The Haven.” Supposedly, “The Letters” was in stock, but we looked all over the Christian Fiction section and could not find it.
There’s one copy of “The Haven” at Barnes & Noble in Temecula, CA.
I would love to win this book
The Barnes and Noble in Green Bay, WI has several of your books. They have The Inn at Eagle Hill series (The Letters and The Calling) and The Stoney Ridge Seasons series (The Keeper, The Haven, and The Lesson). I didn’t see any of the children’s books there because a book store is not always the easiest place to wander around in when I have twin 4 year olds and an 8 year old in tow. But I plan to check out your children’s books and hopefully order them online. My niece is a huge reader and she has a birthday coming up so I know just what I am getting her – The Lily Lapp series.
I forgot to say that it was today that I went.
Also, I just bought The Waiting. I bought it from Amazon though since I do most of my reading on my phone when I’m waiting in some line or another or if I am at one of my five kids athletic events. I read the first book in this series after my mom recommended it and I haven’t had time to start the second one.
Wonderful prize which would be great appreciated and enjoyed.
We don’t have a Barnes and Noble close to us–it’s about an hour away. However, I have read “The Calling” and loved it and I am praying for your safety while you “tour.” Hugs and prayers!
