Not so long ago, Blake and Kaitlyn came to visit for a week. We planned a lot of fun things to go to, but all they really wanted to do was to play in our backyard. So that’s what we did! Kaitlyn loves, loves, loves dogs, and Blake loves any kind of ball. Basketball, ping pong, baseball, tennis ball, football . . . anything round that can be thrown. But one thing they both loved . . .blowing bubbles.

I love mowing the grass on my riding lawn mower. Sometimes I sing, sometimes I think about different people or things and sometimes I pray.

Hi Melanie! Bet you have a large yard. It’s rare in the SF Bay Area for anyone to have a riding lawn mower! Tiny little yards…and now they’re brown because we’re in a severe drought. So I loved reading about your simple pleasure…so nice to think there is lots of green in your part of the world!
We always loved blowing bubbles and trying to catch them. Now it is fun to watch my nieces and nephews doing the same thing. Everyone in my family is dog lovers. We grew up having several dogs to play and run with.
Donna B…do your dogs chase the bubbles like mine do? 🙂
Thank you!
