Really hoping the “things come in threes” rule doesn’t apply during this wedding week: our bride rolled her ankle while playing with her 4-year-old nephew, and I cut off my fingernail (the entire nail) while chopping parsley. Hoping for smooth sailing from here!
If you can’t tell, I definitely have all things wedding on the mind and couldn’t help but share a few silly wedding-day comics!
Dear Suzanne,
I hope your daughter’s wedding was beautiful. Our youngest (and a daughter as well !) was married this past June. My husband is a Baptist minister and he got to marry them. It is bittersweet to marry off the youngest ,isn’ t it ? The end of the childrearing years, and now the era of guiding young marrieds, and grandchildren!!
I just read “The Keeper” which had me blinking back tears for Menno, Amos and Julia!! Thank you for the story. Will you write Amos and Maggie’s story?? I would love to hear what happened to Maggie. Sincerely, Beth
