Steve and I were up in Seattle a few weeks ago and had some fun day trips with our two little grandchildren. If you’re ever up there, don’t miss Pike’s Public Market! The very first Starbucks is across the street. And walk through the market place. Beautiful fruits, veggies, meats, unique handicrafts. And be sure to splurge on the dried strawberries. They’re a wow.

I lived near Seattle for a few years and so enjoyed our time there. When my parents would come to visit, taking the grandchildren to Pike’s Place Market and up Mt Rainier were always the big hits! I remember when the first Starbucks was open! Ok, I just aged myself:)
