A few Saturdays ago, my daughters and I held a baby shower for Amanda, my son’s wife. She’s due in early August! A little girl! We had fun getting ready for the shower. Theme: pink.
We had a glass of sparkling lemonade with a raspberry waiting for each person as she arrived. A nice touch!
I have a small house, so it’s always a tight squeeze when we host parties. That doesn’t stop us! But it is a challenge to make sure everyone has elbow room at the table.
We put the great-grandmothers in the kitchen…easier for them to hear and talk. Mostly…hear!
We served a cobb salad. Dee-lish!
My daughter Meredith, my daughter-in-law Amanda, me, Kaitlyn (granddaughter), and my daughter Lindsey (mom of Kaitlyn).
Amanda and Gary’s baby was blessed at the shower–in so many ways. Lovely gifts and caring friends.
