Dorcas is giving away a set of her four books, Ordinary Days, Upstairs the Peasants are Revolting, Downstairs the Queen is Knitting and Tea and Trouble Brewing. To enter, just leave a comment {HERE} (or email ckrumm@litfusegroup.com if you experience a problem with the comment box). Winner will be notified next week via email.

More about Dorcas:Dorcas Smucker is a Mennonite minister’s wife and a mother of six. She lives in Oregon’s Willamette Valley in a 100-year-old farmhouse. She writes a monthly column, Letter from Harrisburg, for the Eugene, Oregon, Register-Guard, and speaks to various groups. Mostly, she keeps busy with cooking, giving advice, cleaning, doing laundry, battling ants and mice, sewing, and listening to people who need to talk. Her idea of heaven on earth involves sunshine, a porch swing, a good book, and a pot of tea. Dorcas is also the author of: Ordinary Days, Upstairs the Peasants are Revolting, Downstairs the Queen is Knitting and Tea and Trouble Brewing (Good Books, Intercourse, PA).

Be sure to visit Dorcas’ blog Life in the Shoe.

More about Dorcas’ recent release: Tea and Trouble Brewing

You never know what you’ll find in the Smuckers’ Oregon farmhouse. Perhaps teenage boys lighting WD-40 on fire, an army of ants invading, or all the lights dimming. Author Dorcas Smucker, mom of six, gets her perspective back by brewing a pot of tea and escaping for a few minutes. In this collection of essays and stories, she invites you to join her for a cup of tea, hear her tales, and then remember all the stories of your own.

More about Rhonda: Rhonda Schrock is the mother of 4 sons, ages 6 to 22. She and her family live in Northern Indiana. She is a telecommuting medical transcriptionist and the writer of the weekly column, “Grounds for Insanity,” which appears in The Goshen News.  A prolific blogger, she appears twice monthly on Suzanne Woods Fisher’s website and writes once monthly for Sherry Gore, author and founder of “Cooking & Such” magazine. Rhonda is also the editor of “Cooking & Such,” and her column is featured there regularly.
