This month is all about living small and downsizing. Living small doesn’t mean you have to be a minimalist without any flair. After all, you don’t have to downsize yourself out of having any style.
If you are making a transition to a smaller space, for any reason, make the most of the opportunity.
Instead of buying smaller furniture that fits the space better, use fewer pieces of furniture. Repurpose your favorite tables or chairs in different rooms and get rid of the furniture you don’t really need.
Pinterest is overflowing with suggestions or repurposing items for storage and shelving alternatives. You might be surprised how you transform what you have in a way that better meets your needs.
Here are a few of the many creative, beautiful space saving ideas that I’ve seen:
This office is a closet conversion – GREAT idea.
I love this bed/desk/shelving idea for a kid’s room.
Love these pull-outs for under stairs.
Great small home office.
