iPad

I’ve grown very attached to the iPad. I use it throughout the day in ways I wouldn’t have expected. Recipes, dictionary, googling, Facetime, Netflix.

Totally worth the monthly subscription fee.

About Suzanne

Suzanne Woods Fisher writes bestselling, award winning fiction and non-fiction books about the Old Order Amish for Revell Books. Her interest in the Plain People began with her Old Order German Baptist grandfather, raised in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Suzanne's app, Amish Wisdom, delivers a daily Amish proverb to your phone or iPad. She writes a bi-monthly column for Christian Post and Cooking & Such magazine. She lives with her family in California and raises puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind. To Suzanne's way of thinking, you can't take life too seriously when a puppy is running through your house with someone's underwear in its mouth.

  1. I have 2 Kindle Fires. My older one and my new Kindle Fire HDX. Love it.
I use it for emailing , blogging , storing pictures. I even take pictures with it , which I finally figured out because my Kindle shows my face when ever I turn the camera on, but there’s a way to do everything and I now get nice pictures with my new Kindle.
I have the weather app. Love it better that the one that comes with the kindle.
I now can down load the most wonderful music from Amazon Prime totally free for members. Love love this.
My husband bought me a Bose speaker. One of those little portable ones with supper sound so I carry it around all over the house so I can enjoy all that music I’ve down loaded.
I down loaded a blue tooth app to my Kindle fire which makes all this possible to do with the music and my speaker .
There’s so much more I’m sure but I’ve gotten so used to these conveniences when they’re a part of my everyday life. Aren’t they super ?
Happy Old Fashioned New Year one and all

Yes, Shirley! They are amazing. I think I’m more conscious of bringing my iPhone with me than my purse! 🙂 Suzanne
