Give Me the Simple Life: CHAOS

This year, start small.

Sometimes it’s the smallest things that make the biggest impact. Rather than set a major goal that fizzles out by the end of January, commit to small things. file0001468842783

Ever heard of CHAOS? It’s an acronym for “Can’t Have Anyone Over Syndrome.” After the holidays, my home feels downright . . . sticky. It’s a wonderful feeling to put away all of the Christmas decorations, but the house still needs a good scrubbing and vacuuming and fridge-pitching. It’s on my to-do list!

So here’s where I go for help: It’s the “start small” concept of cleaning and organizing a household. Each day, tasks are assigned that keep a home humming along. This week, buzz over to FlyLady and give her a try!

I loved reading your comments last week about the “start small” changes you are making this year—thanks for sharing! Congratulations to the winner of a copy of Amish Values for Your Family, TEA NORMAN! Please email your mailing address to to claim your prize.

Good news!! I’ll be on tour January 15th through the 20th to various locations in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. Check out the details here. I’d love to meet you!

Oh my goodness! I have not heard Flylady in years, since Amber was a little girl! I totally forgot about her. I tried her methods but couldn’t do it. Now when I hear Flylady I cringe and want to run the other way! lol

I’m glad it works for you, Suzanne!
