Tune in on Thursday at 4:00 pm Central! To listen in – go here and just click on the player in the top right corner.

Welcome to Amish Wisdom! On Thursday’s show I’ll be interviewing columnist and blogger Rhonda Schrock. My good friend Sherry Gore introduced us … and I’m grateful she did. You’re going to love Rhonda. Sherry and Rhonda both write for Cooking &Such. Rhonda was raised in a Mennonite community and today is a wife and mom to four (YES 4!) boys and has a wonderful blog, The Natives are Getting Restless. She also writes a column for The Goshen News called “Grounds for Insanity.”

More about Rhonda: Rhonda Schrock lives in Northern Indiana with her husband and 4 sons, ages 22, 18, 13, and 5. By day, she is a telecommuting medical transcriptionist, chief cook, and bottle washer. In the early morning hours, she flees to a local coffee shop where she pens “Grounds for Insanity,” a weekly column that appears in The Goshen News, so named for her love of coffee and all those boys. She is an occasional guest columnist in her hometown paper, The Hutch News.  Two of her columns won Editor’s Choice awards and have been published in an anthology.  She’s also blogged professionally for her son’s school of choice, Bethel College; contributed to a humor blog; contributes to a parenting website, Moms Michiana; and maintains her personal blog, “The Natives are Getting Restless.” She is the newest writer for the magazine, “Cooking & Such:  Adventures in Plain Living,” whose first issue went to 40-plus states, 2 foreign countries, and counting.  She survives and thrives on prayer, mochas, and books.
