We are Prius People!

My husband came home with our new Toyota Prius today! Other than the fact that we miscommunicated about the color we wanted (I wanted “girly blue” but we seem to have ended up with a “manly blue”)…it drives very nicely–a lot like a Camry–once you can figure out how to get it started. And how to stop it, too.

There’s no key. And there’s a VERY SPECIFIC system to work with a hybrid motor.

But one thing I noticed, right off…bank robbers would have trouble making a clean getaway in a Toyota Prius. It takes a minute or so to start up the engine.

Besides saving money on gasoline and doing our bit to save the environment, I think having a foil-the-bank-robbery-kind-of-car is rather noble.
