After Carly Smithson was voted off American Idol, I was hoping to catch a glimpse of her husband. He’s a curiosity…every single inch of his body is covered with tattoos.

I kept thinking that he reminded me of someone or something…and last night, a hammer finally tripped in my mind.

It’s the character Queequog, Ishmael’s unlikely harpooning buddy, in Herman Melville’s classic story of Moby Dick.
