My husband picked up our college daughter, Meredith, at the airport a few days before Thanksgiving.

On the ride home, Meredith said, “Dad, did you know I go to church every single day?”

“Every single day?” he asked, doubtfully.

“Yup. Mom’s church. She gives me a sermon every single day.”

When Steve got home, he said he couldn’t stop laughing until they were nearly home. He doubled up with laughter all over again, just trying to repeat the story.

Well, at least she’s listening to me. I think.
