Uh Oh

Just went down for my scheduled appointment for the final fitting of my Mother of the Bride dress. It was hanging up on a rack where it was left two weeks ago. Still just some fabric cut out with pins in it. A raw dress.

The tailor insisted that there was plenty of time before the wedding on July 18th, to which I replied that the wedding was on July 14th and no, there was not plenty of time.

I must have looked as if I was about to burst into tears…because he quickly added, “Mebbe… I start now!”

I’m supposed to come back at 4pm today. “No problem,” he assured me.

In the meantime, I have officially moved into panic mode.
